Bio
Jeffrey Stein is a staff attorney with the ACLU’s National Security Project. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he studied music and creative writing, and Columbia Law School, where he was an editor of the Columbia Law Review and received the E.B. Convers Prize. After law school, Jeff was a law clerk for the Hon. Leo T. Sorokin of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Hon. Diana Gribbon Motz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Prior to joining the ACLU, Jeff was an associate attorney at Earthjustice, where he litigated cases concerning climate change, air and water pollution, and greenwashing.
