WASHINGTON 鈥� The 老熟女午夜福利 released a comprehensive analysis of Sen. Jeff Sessions鈥� record on civil liberties issues ahead of the January 10-11 confirmation hearing as President-elect Donald Trump鈥檚 pick for attorney general. The ACLU report examines Sessions鈥� handling of voting rights, police reform, immigration, mass incarceration, religious liberty, LGBT equality, privacy and surveillance, torture, abortion, and sexual assault issues. 鈥淭he American people deserve a full vetting of Sen. Jeff Sessions鈥� record if he is to become the nation鈥檚 top law enforcement official,鈥� said ACLU Executive Director Anthony D. Romero. 鈥淚f the Senate does their job well, Congress and the American public will know if Sessions is the most qualified person to be the 84th attorney general of the United States of America. All Americans must have confidence that the highest law enforcement official in the country will protect them from discrimination and injustice. Trump and Sessions鈥� commitment to 鈥榣aw and order鈥� must embrace justice.鈥� The ACLU does not take positions supporting or opposing executive branch or judicial nominations.
